I'm assuming the fight progresses as Jiraiya vs Pain did, that is, he starts facing 3 bodies. In that case, yeah, Jiraiya wins handily. If he starts knowing that each of the three realms only has one ability, he can handle hungry ghost with taijutsu, human with ninjutsu, and animal with either, some standard tricks and support jutsu let him take them easy. Seal them away in a toad and send it back to Myobokuzan so Hell can't revive them, and fight Asura, Deva, and Hell. Deva won't use his power to its full potential in Amegakure, so just apply frog song and win!If he starts facing 6 bodies things get dicy. Frog Song is easily his best shot, he'd have to retreat immediatly. Of course, Jiraiya with one arm was quite able to escape all 6 paths at once, he should have no trouble escaping.
Jiraiya Vs Pain Full Fight.
He'd need to make a beautiful plan to pull it all off, but with his nigh limitless stamina, full knowledge, and the maze of Amegakure, he should be able to do it. Alternatively, he can go into his barrier frog, have the Elders synch inside of it, come out and solo. It'd be harder, but he should win more than lose, I would think. It'd be harder, but he should win more than lose, I would think. Click to expand.I actually think this is spot on. The most recent we know is that Jiraiya gave a message to naruto saying 'The real one is not among them' or something belong them lines. Jiraiya never found out all of pains abilities, but the secret of Negato being vulnerable as he controls the 6 paths.Nevertheless Pain would still win. He is just simply a stronger ninja than jiraiya and nothing more.
Even the 'knowledge' would not change a thing since pain would simply catch and kill Jiraiya before he even tries to run, plus Jiraiya would still have to find and locate Negato's real body. Also Bare in mind Pain beat Full HM mode Naruto without the intent to kill. And HM Naruto HM Jiraiya.Pain wins again. Click to expand. With that in mind, Jiraiya vs. The 1st three Paths should play out the same way it did in the manga. The only difference being that it would be easier. The fact that Jiraiya already has information on each path eliminates any need for the Trial & Error approach he used in the manga.
Starting out in Sage Mode also simplifies things. After finishing them off, Jiraiya should seal the bodies since he knows they can be revived. If he doesn't it will make things much harder against the next set of Paths seeing as how he would have to fend off Naraka Path from reviving the others. Now for the next three; their offense is stronger than the previous 3, and Jiraiya winning depends on if you believe he can handle ST and BT. I'm a firm believer that a well placed Bunshin Feint or Kawarimi (if timed correctly) can counter the lesser versions of Tensei.
Hari Jizou should also play a big role here (especially against ST and Asura). Best case scenario; Jiraiya gets Bansho Tenin'd over to Deva, and Ma or Pa are able pull off a and lance Deva in half. The amount of difficulty Jiraiya would have finishing off these 3 bodies depends on if he used Magen - Gama Rinshou to finish off the 1st three Paths. If he hasn't used his trump card, he should finish things with mid difficulty; if he already has, it'll be much harder/possibly end in defeat for Jiraiya.Keep in mind a scenario with Pain winning could also easily be made. Jiraiya with full knowledge, will utilize frog song against all 6 realms instead of the first three. Since he pretty much had the 3 of them beaten with his strategie even before the frog song finished, he could have spared it for the 6 paths. IMO, pain is indeed stronger than jiraiya, but jiraiya with full knowledge will know what to do if he was brought back to the same scenario.I give this to jiraiya 6/10 times considering he gets the frog song off against all 6 of them, the other 40% is assuming pain gets a hold of him before its finished.
Jiraiya will also have jutsu to fend off the 6 paths since his arm wouldnt be ripped off. The idea that Nagato was refering to Jiraiya finding him is silly when you remember that Nagato was in no way helpless. He had all 7 Rinnegan techniques, meaning he could summon the 6 paths, absorb ninjutsu, use ST and BT, and other fun stuff.
Nagato and Konan were both quite confident he could beat SM Naruto even after Naruto beat all 6 paths of Pain. Knowing Nagato's location wouldn't let Jiraiya win if he couldn't beat the 6 paths in the first place. The reason Jiraiya can win this is because they fight in Amegakure; Pain's greatest attacks are unusable here and Jiraiya can find a place to hide for frog song easily. Sure, 6 paths would butcher him on an open field like where Naruto fought but when Jiraiya has advantages like this he can win. Click to expand.Well that still doesn't mean he is 100% sure as he says probably.-To answer the topic i think Jiraiya would win. Jiraiya starting in HM would destroy animal realm forcing out human and hungry right away. With knowledge of their abilities i feel like Jiraiya could use KB to help divide the bodies and defeat them.
Hungry with Taijutsu or having him absorb Natural energy till he dies.Once Pain summons out the other bodies Jiraiya knowing whats coming could immediately hide in the tunnels of Anime and then unleash frog song on all of them and then finish each off with a Rasengan or Ultimate Rasengan. Jiraiya with full knowledge, will utilize frog song against all 6 realms instead of the first three. Jiraiya will also have jutsu to fend off the 6 paths since his arm wouldnt be ripped off. Click to expand.Uhm, no. Jiraiya said he'd be killed if the fight went as it was going, which was that his ninjutsu and taijutsu were constantly being perfectly countered. However, this isn't because of Pain's good qualities or choices, it was because of Jiraiya's mistakes and lack of knowledge.
Each Pain was being forced to defend themselves without the other's help because the 3 Pains could barely keep up with Jiraiya's speed and tricks, Jiraiya simply chose wrong attacks (taijutsu on Human Realm, ninjutsu on Hungry Ghost, wrong type of ninjutsu on Animal) Once Jiraiya figured out they could only use one technique, and thus how to attack them in that corridor, he slaughtered them. They never even had a chance to counter attack and only one was standing when Frog Song went off. Click to expand.Lol what? Like hell he was, Jiraiya ran damn circles around him.
He was able to react when Jiraiya rasengan dived Hungry Ghost, and he was able to block the punch, but it should be obvious he was being terribly outmanueved when Jiraiya went from being attacked from behind to attacking from behind before the guy could even finish his attack. And before you mention the smoke bomb, Human was blind and the other Pains seemed to be able to see in anyway to see the attack. As for that kick, he didn't even get his hands up, it was completely beyond his reaction time. Most believe its because Jiraiya's speed increase surprised Pain, although the blocked punch was easy to see being setup and thus predictable and easier to block. Either way, Human Realm was instantly forced on the defensive the moment he clashed with Jiraiya, not an equal at all. Jiraiya said he'd be killed if the fight went as it was going, which was that his ninjutsu and taijutsu were constantly being perfectly countered. Click to expand. As far as I remember, he had to use frog song to paralize pein before he even had a chance to go offensive against pein in the corridor (unless I am mistaken).Jiraya's knowledge here hardly makes any difference if he keeps fighting pein (without going directly for nagato). It's not like pein's body/eye coordination will be any less effective whether jiraya knows about it or not.taijutsu and ninjutsu will be useless.
Jiraya stated that after he figured out (gained knowledge) of shared vision. Not like he wasn't running away after he learned that. And the main premise of one of the previous poster's argument was that jiraya will decide to use genjutsu after all the six bodies are there. Well that argument tells me that jiraya will not use genjutsu against these three peins. But manga clearly stated that jiraya couldn't do much against these three without the genjutsu either.Possible scenarios:1. Either Jiraya keeps running from these three pein bodies ever without using genjutsu like he was doing in the manga2. Jiraya uses genjutsu on these three bodies like he did and gets slaughtered by the rest of peins like in the manga (where pein will get knowledge of genjutsu)3.
Jiraya goes right after the nagato body (although he has to find it) and he might have a slim chance given how nagato decides to use his bodies.
